#84 - Virtualisation | Installing a VM - Installing VirtualBox on Windows

For this tutorial, you will understand how to install VirtualBox onto your PC system. 

1.    Navigate to https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads and you will see the latest VM available as well as the operating systems that it can be installed on.

2.    Download VirtualBox for your desired OS, for this tutorial we will be installing on a Windows host. However, if using a Mac use the OS X, and for Linux - the tutorial can be seen here. 

3. You will be prompted when running this application, confirm that the verified publisher is Oracle and click accept. (Note, in the image below, this is being installed on a AMD system, not Intel. the tutorial for enabling AMD-V hypervisor can be seen here) If your system is Intel, then you do not have to worry about this.

4. An installation wizard box will appear, select 'Next'
